Cookie Notice
Last updated: July 28, 2026
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep soaringspiritscreations.net and the Willow App working securely and to understand how people use our site. This notice explains what cookies are, which types we may use, and how you can control them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and measure how the site is used. Some cookies are set by us (first-party), and some are set by services we use to run the site (third-party). Similar technologies like local storage and pixels work in comparable ways.
How we use cookies
We limit cookies to what we need for functionality, security, and improvement:
Essential cookies
Required for the site to work. These keep you logged into Willow, protect against fraud, remember security preferences, and support essential site functions. You cannot opt out of essential cookies because the site would not function without them.
Always active
Functional cookies
Help us remember choices you have made, such as display preferences or whether you have seen a notice. These improve convenience but are not strictly required. Disabling them may cause some preferences to reset.
Optional — can be disabled in browser settings
Analytics cookies
If we enable analytics in the future (for example, to understand which pages are most helpful), we will use analytics cookies or similar tools to measure visits and improve content. These cookies collect aggregated information like page views, not your private Willow journal content. Where required, we will ask for consent before setting non-essential analytics cookies.
Only used if analytics is enabled, often with consent
Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be set by services we rely on:
- Payment providers, when you use an optional Willow subscription: cookies or similar technologies may support secure processing and fraud prevention
- Buildy / hosting infrastructure: authentication, email delivery, and site performance
- Analytics providers (if enabled): aggregated traffic measurement — we will list them here if added
We do not allow third-party advertising trackers that follow you across other websites at this time. If this changes, we will update this notice and provide clear opt-out options.
How to control cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings:
- Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies for a site
- On mobile, you can usually control cookies under Settings or Privacy controls
- You can set your browser to notify you when a cookie is set
Instructions vary by browser. Search your browser's help section for "cookies" or "site data" for steps. For example, in Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. In Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
What happens if you disable cookies?
- Essential cookies: the site, login, and security features may not function correctly if blocked
- Functional cookies: preferences may not be remembered between visits
- Analytics cookies: we will receive less information about which public pages help visitors
We do not use a cookie wall — we do not block access to essential parts of the site solely because you declined non-essential cookies.
More information
To learn more about how we handle personal information beyond cookies, please see our Privacy Policy. If you have questions about cookies or want to report an issue, contact us at hello@soaringspiritscreations.net.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. At this time, there is no uniform standard for how sites should respond, so we do not change our behavior based on that signal alone. You can still control cookies through your browser settings as described above.
